President/General Manager

Location: West Coast

GRS Recruiting has partnered with a well-known and highly respected Hydraulic/Mobile Equipment manufacturer in their search for a President/General Manager on the West Coast. 

The successful candidate will have a strong sales leadership background within the Fluid Power or Heavy Equipment industries.

Primary Responsibilities:

 

  • Successfully create and execute a strategic business plan for growth

  • Lead and develop a high-performing team of professionals in all aspects of the company- sales, marketing, finance, and operations

  • Responsible for P&L statements and all bottom-line financials

  • Engage with internal and external stakeholders to create a positive culture for success

  • Nurture an environment that attracts and retains the top talent for your team

 

Qualifications to include:

  • Demonstrated success in a senior leadership role (GM/Branch Manager/President); minimum 10 years leadership experience

  • Experience in Fluid Power/Heavy Equipment/Mobile Equipment within Commercial markets is ideal

  • Strong track record of executing business plans for growth

  • Entrepreneurial mindset; ability to question the status quo and implement change; strategic thinker

  • Superior communication skills; must be able to articulate vision and goals to all levels of employees and stakeholders

  • Previous success developing strong teams with a high level of accountability

  • Relevant Bachelor’s degree; MBA preferred
